El Programa UCR requiere que los individuos y las empresas que operan veh\u00edculos comerciales de motor en el comercio interestatal o internacional para registrar su negocio con un estado participante y pagar una cuota anual basada en el tama\u00f1o de su flota. Esto incluye a TODOS los transportistas: privados, exentos o de alquiler. Los intermediarios, transitarios y empresas de leasing tambi\u00e9n deben registrarse y pagar una cuota a menos que tambi\u00e9n operen como transportistas.<\/p><p>Al igual que el SSRS, las tasas recaudadas con el sistema UCR ser\u00e1n utilizadas por los estados para apoyar sus programas de seguridad y la formaci\u00f3n de oficiales del USDOT.
